Everything you need to know
Before you travel to Bawah Reserve
Your journey begins in Singapore by chauffeur pick up from your hotel, residence or airport. Our travel coordinator will then escort you by ferry and car to Batam Airport, where you board our private Seaplane (an amphibious, twin-engine aircraft that can land and take-off both on land and on water). After an 80-minute flight, you will land in water at Bawah Reserve.
Whilst Singapore is the start of the journey for many of our Bawah Reserve guests, there is always an option to travel via Jakarta, Bali, or other destinations in Indonesia.
* Please note the round trip from Batam to Bawah and back costs US$800 per person. If you’re coming from Singapore, however, our round trip transport package costs US$950. This includes car service to the ferry terminal, escort by ferry to Batam with expedited passport clearance and car service to the airport in Batam.
Due to the intimate size and nature of the resort, children must be a minimum of five years.
Parents must be aware that our suites are designed to accommodate only 2 people. We can add one additional bed per suite for $450/$600 USD per night (dependent on the age of the child). This extra person is not entitled to spa treatments.
We have our Treehouse Lodge, whilst not on the beach, this 2-bedroom lodge is perfect for families with younger children.
Our beach and garden suites, overwater bungalows, and pool villas are all around 30m apart and not connected – so please bear this in mind if you have younger children.
