CULTURED CUISINE WITH A VIEW

Perched high in the rainforest canopy, Tree Tops sits where fine Asian-fusion cuisine, regional charm and breath-taking views intersect. Its vaulted bamboo architecture features an impressive light installation representing a bloom of jellyfish gracefully swaying above a grand oak table, perfect for entertaining groups of up to 20 guests.

A sand-between-your-toes establishment, The Boat House promises delectable flavours with a side of stunning ocean views. Think fresh-caught seafood and gorgeous salads, barbecued meats, poke bowls and pizzas straight from our custom brick oven. Indulge your inner child by sitting at the swinging chairs, or opt for a sun-lounger at water’s edge. Come nightfall, join a barbecue dinner and ‘Starlit Cinema’ screening – the sky’s never felt so big before.

Named after the impressive fish that inhabits our lagoons, this whimsical venue serves as Bawah’s social hub. Located steps from the jetty, beach and infinity pool Grouper Bar offers a convenient meeting spot for an early morning coffee, mid-day nibbles or pre-dinner drinks. Relaxing beach bar by day and late-night lounge by night, The Grouper Bar provides the perfect backdrop for a well-crafted espresso, Champagne toasts or sipping a fine whisky at the end of the day.

THE SUMMIT HIDEAWAY

The Jules Verne bar sits at the top of the island’s pinnacle and is an homage to the 19th-century author whose fantastical remote islands have captured imaginations for decades.

Climb up the spiral staircase and unwind with a meticulously crafted classic or tropical cocktail – each an artwork that showcases fresh garden-to-glass ingredients like lemongrass, chilli, pandan and pink peppercorns.

“The Boat House Bar is part of the beautiful Bawah Reserve. It’s considered a secret tip in Indonesia. Surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery, you’ll find your toes swaying in the sand while seawater gently laps in the crystal blue lagoon. The ambience is particularly charming. Because the rainforest not only surrounds the Boat House Bar. It also provides the drift wood from which parts of the furnishings are made. Regional ingredients are used.
